We are passionate about creating long-term, sustainable programmes which will benefit everyone as well as promote sustainable travel and tourism practices to better preserve the planet we live in.
Sungai Plogging – Our Monthly Commitment
After the success of last year’s CSR initiative, Hatten Hotel Melaka proudly launched its Morning Walk & Plogging Around Sungai Melaka Programme, turning simple steps into meaningful impact.
Starting at 7am, our associates walked from Hatten Hotel, all the way to Vedro Mall, picking up litter along the riverbanks, keeping our city clean while staying active and connected as a team.
Each participant was honoured with a Hero Squad Certificate by Perbadanan Sungai dan Pantai Melaka, as recognition for a big collective effort.
Buka Puasa with Anak Yatim
Hatten Hotel Melaka was honoured to welcome 100 children from several welfare homes in Melaka to our Seindah Ramadan Buffet Dinner, where laughter and warmth filled the room.
Hosted in collaboration with the National Council of Women’s Organisations Melaka, the event was graced by YABhg Toh Puan Datuk Wira (Dr.) Hjh Asmah binti Ab Rahman. After prayers and speeches, duit raya and festive goodie bags were presented to the children by Group General Manager, Datuk Chuck Kassim and YABhg Toh Puan, before breaking fast together.
We hope this meaningful evening brought as much happiness to them as it did to us.
Food Aid for Families in Need
From our kitchen to the community. Sharing ready-to-eat meals with families in need across Melaka, together with Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat Negeri Melaka and Yayasan Muhibbah. As part of our zero waste initiative, food from our buffet undergoes a “retort” process and is packed for distribution to poor families and as emergency relief aid. Grateful to be part of something that truly matters.
Blood Donation & Health Fair
Our Blood Donation and Health Fair was a success with 100 successful donors achieved. The fair also featured basic health screenings as well as eye checks. Special thanks to Lions Club for sponsoring 5kg rice packs for all successful donors.

Star Wash: A New Hope
Our Star Wash CSR initiative successfully raised RM3,560, with 100% of the proceeds donated to Shikin’s Team Animal Rescuer

Beach Clean-Up
Our team came together at Pantai Puteri to take action. From clearing litter to protecting the shoreline, this CSR initiative was about more than cleaning. It was about caring for the environment and making a positive impact.

Keeping our Sungai Melaka Clean
Our team headed to the Melaka River for a meaningful CSR mission led by our Group General Manager, Datuk Chuck Kassim. With around 70 staff taking part, we formed three dedicated teams, including one on a boat and two along the riverbank.
From collecting litter to preserving the natural beauty of Melaka, every effort made a lasting impact toward a more sustainable future. Let’s keep the momentum going and continue making a difference for our environment and community.
Pillow Donation as Disaster Aid
Our team came together with one heart and one purpose to carry and deliver pillows as part of our disaster aid donation. With teamwork and dedication, every effort was made to ensure these essentials reach those who need them most.
It is more than just providing pillows. It is about bringing comfort to weary nights, support during tough times, and a message of hope that no one is alone in their journey.
Static Food Distribution around Bukit Cina
In support of Kechara Soup Kitchen, Hatten Hotel Melaka joined volunteers from Kechara to kick-start Melaka’s community outreach programme to provide static food distribution to 60 underprivileged families.
The programme will be carried out throughout September featuring specialities from Hatten Hotel and restaurants under HHW Foods.
